The Blitz is what we like to think of as a nice ‘playing out’ jacket. It looks good with jeans and a T-shirt, and also does sterling work messing around on a bike. The fabric is on the heavy side and you do need to open the long vents right up when you’re grinding up a climb, but it’s not aimed at cross country whippets, so breathability is less of an issue.
Closing everything right down with the drawcords at the hood and hem keeps the very worst weather at bay and additional features include a water-resistant front zip, hand warmer pockets and small chest pocket.
