Lightweight and comfy to wear in a stretchy and effective material

Lightweight and highly packable, the Rebound's an easy-to-bring extra layer. I've worn it in a lot of different weather conditions as protection against the wind, and it has also stood up well to the odd shower.

It dries very quickly and doesn't make you feel boiled inside like a full waterproof can. Water beads up effectively thanks to the repellent finish – after this wears off it needs reproofing to keep the drops out.

The thin ripstop material is stretchy for easy movement and it's proved very hardwearing after months of hard use. There's one simple zippered pocket at the back and plenty of reflective markings all around.

Elastic drawcords at the neck and hem help keep out draughts, though the hem toggle is on one side only and can lead to bunching if not adjusted properly. Arm and torso length are long for on-the-bike coverage and the slim cut keeps it from flapping around.
