The Stellar is a fairly bulky jacket, with plenty of room for layering underneath. It's warmer than much of the competition, but the mesh lining and two large zipped armpit vents provide effective air conditioning on the bike.
Waterproofing is very good, both of the material itself and the taped seams. The Stellar comes with a lot of reflective material – on the zip, waterproof front pocket, cuffs, shoulder and rear – and a large zipped rear pocket.
The Velcro cuffs and drawstring collar and hems keep it nice and snug. Watch out though, because sizing on both the men’s and women’s models is exceptionally large.
