Our review
A casual looking shoe that doesn’t compromise on comfort or performance

With a moderately stiff sole, an easily modulated and supportive lacing system, a female-specific last and well considered cushioning, these shoes feel great when riding, with a performance to match.

The lace-protecting Velcro doubles back, pulling from both sides, although it does come up a bit short leaving the Mavic ‘M’ off-centre – purely an aesthetic niggle.

Off the bike, while they’ll never compete with an all out approach shoe or trainer, short walks are fine; the Contagrip sole (developed by Salomon) is upwardly curved, allowing the foot to rock, counteracting the stiff sole.
