The Strafer shorts are made from a nylon/polyester mix and they have an invincible feel, which is just as well because they're designed for heavy duty downhill use on a daily basis. The cut is fitted enough not to make you look like MC Hammer, but still loose enough to be comfy.

There's a simple click lock system and chunky zip to keep the shorts on, and a very well designed back panel. This is made from mesh material and it's protected by a vented flap that sits over it. This system works well when the going gets hot, and the flap can also be used to pull your shorts up.

There's plenty of ventilation elsewhere too - stretchy vent panels adorn the insides of the thighs and the whole crotch region is ventilated. All this ventilation combined with the heavy duty covering on the outside of the thighs produces shorts that are tough enough to wear on the burliest of rides, but breathable enough to wear all the time.

Inside, the shorts feature a super cool camouflage wicking mesh liner and a small pocket big enough for a few quid and some keys. They also feel very soft and comfortable for a burly pair of shorts.
