Our review
Great-looking, fully featured shorts for drier times

A heavier pair of shorts that are warmer than some of the featherweight styles we've tested. But they have a protective feel about them, and good mesh inserts stop you overheating.

Together with a generous leg length, they make a good enduro-style combo that gives reassuring coverage for descents but is comfortable enough for extended riding. The cut was a smidge long in the rise for this tester, but the fit was otherwise so neat that this mattered less than it might.

The smooth-lined waistband, with inner adjusters, stayed comfortably in place too. The leg shape is good for tall riders – generous without referencing a galleon in full sail. And not to be too shallow, but this style looks just as good for hanging around in.
