Kona DH Shorts review

Kona don't just produce bombproof bikes, as these impressively robust long-leg shorts prove. Heavyweight Cordura cloth marks them out as seriously crash and thrashproof, but they're still light and mobile enough for you to ride all day in them.

Like your favourite jeans, but for riding in

Kona don't just produce bombproof bikes, as these impressively robust long-leg shorts prove. Heavyweight Cordura cloth marks them out as seriously crash and thrashproof, but they're still light and mobile enough for you to ride all day in them. In fact, it takes a few long rides to get them worn in but they'll soon feel like your favourite jeans.

The shaped panel cut, stretchy back piece, side vents with zips and elasticated waist belt add mobility, and a full mesh liner keeps sweat moving away from your skin. You'll need a padded liner for longer cross-country type riding but these shorts are great for just hanging around in and they're well priced too.
