Woolistic 6-panel Wool Shorts review

Wool shorts went by the wayside in the 70s, but that's because they were never this good. These are seriously comfy, and pulling them on after riding in Lycra all your life is a joy.

Unbelievably good. A great modern take on an old classic

Wool shorts went by the wayside in the 70s, but that's because they were never this good. These are seriously comfy, and pulling them on after riding in Lycra all your life is a joy.

What's more, there's a real difference in feel when having a natural material in such an intimate location. As an added bonus, they never feel clammy and smell a lot better than most synthetic antibacterial chamois. The pad is excellent and sits very well in the groin and never sags, even when wet. It's also thinner in the front to reduce bulk and prevent that awkward shaping you get when moving around out of the saddle. The fine Merino body of the shorts incorporates a touch of nylon to give some springiness and shape, and this makes them cool in the heat, warm in the cold and machine washable.
