Socks are an often overlooked part of the riding wardrobe that can make a significant difference to ride comfort.

These mid-thickness ones from UK-based Endura fit snugly, dry quickly – both while riding and after washing – thanks to the CoolMax fabric, look smart and are a decent length, ending just above the ankle.

They come in a mixed colour pack of three for £9.99 – black/grey and grey/red – and in a choice of two sizes. Exactly the kind of practical, good value product we’ve come to expect from Endura.

CW has been riding mountain bikes for more than two decades now. He's the first to admit he's not the fittest or most skilful rider on the hill, but that doesn't stop him sweating up the climbs to have a blast on the downhills.
