As the name suggests, this 100 percent merino wool base layer from EDZ weighs in at 190g, and is indeed white.
The superfine merino wool is comfortable and soft against the skin. You can start to feel it get a little itchy on the arms when you start to sweat a bit, but thanks to the wicking nature of the material, that doesn’t last long.
In terms of insulation, EDZ have done a good job in ensuring you stay warm, even on the coldest of days. Our main niggle here though is that when it’s damp, it begins to smell. Since it’s a base layer, it gets damp – and therefore stinky – pretty quickly.
