Our review
Well regarded, reasonably priced alternative to Gore’s Ride-Ons

We know a lot of bike shop mechanics who use Goodridge cables on their bikes. The lightweight PTFE-coated stainless steel housing is easy to cut and install, and the PTFE-coated inner wires are initially as slick shifting as the Gore Ride On system.

Crud/weather-proofing relies on careful trim fitting of lengths of plastic tube between cable stops. As long as you’re patient in initial fitting this is a reasonably foolproof setup that stays sealed for ages. Long-term users say they don’t last quite as long as Gore’s Ride-Ons, but they are half the price.
