What looks an odd couple at first glance turns out to be a well matched pairing. Although the stem is weighty and stiff, this doesn’t translate into a harsh ride thanks to the bar, which takes the sting out of most impacts, and does a great job of reducing road vibrations.
The compact shape feels great, and the drops are angled out slightly to offer good wrist clearance. The tops are ever so slightly flattened out, and once the cables are taped up this gives a very nice grip when climbing and a platform to rest your palms.
