With titanium axles, stainless steel bearings, a machined aluminium main body (in red or gold) and stainless steel studs, these minimalist pedals weigh just 150g a pair.

At its widest, the platform is 75x55mm, which is a small contact area – but the pointed pins are tenaciously grippy. The finish is superb and the quality excellent, but we’re not sure who they’re aimed at.

We wouldn’t use them offroad as the contact area is too small, we wouldn’t use them on a fixed wheel as there’s no provision for clips and straps, and they’re very expensive if you’re a short-distance commuter.
