Our review
By no means a bad pedal, but the price is the downfall here

Nookie are relatively new to the bike world, bringing more dirt jump and freeride bits to the masses. These Playa pedals have alloy bodies, steel axles, sealed bearings and 12 pins each side. The pins provide good grip considering the body isn’t noticeably concaved and the actual face size is quite small.

They’ve put up with a fair bit of abuse without kicking up a fuss. Our only concern is that the axle is quite small where it enters the pedal and is potentially a bending hotspot – although we haven’t managed to bend it yet. We’d like them to be a bit cheaper too.
