The grip of the Straitline pedals is awesome. The pins really grab your shoe, and even though they don’t screw in from behind, the lip on the pin and the large thread has proven to prevent pins tearing out pretty well. The platform feels huge even if you have wide feet, giving a really secure feeling with no chance of rolling off.
Mud clears well, and the bushing system is rebuildable in five minutes. After really muddy rides the bushes can sometimes get tight though, and we’ve had to Loctite pins in the past, but there’s nothing we see as a major issue. The price is high but the quality makes it worth it.
