The Caymano is worth a punt if you’re looking for a new perch

The Caymano is pitching itself squarely into the lightweight XC race saddle market, and it should do quite well.

Initially it’s harder than a cold church pew in the middle of winter, but give it some time and you’re rewarded by a saddle that, despite its flat back and short, narrow nose, is impressively supportive.

Beware, though, if you’re heading out on a ride that’s more than a couple of hours long, because the Caymano can become hard to live with, so you’d better have some motion lotion in the shorts. Comfortable for a few hours, but by no means an epic armchair saddle.
