Next year consumers will be able to get into Interbike, North America's largest bicycle trade show. Unlike Eurobike, where consumers are allowed in for one day at the end of the show, Interbike has always been a trade-only affair. Sure, some cyclists outside of the industry have snuck in over the years by getting a pass from a buddy, but officially the show was closed.

More than 12,000 brands are represented each year at Interbike, according to show organizers.

On Monday November 26, Interbike will announce a new plan to let consumers in through a retailer invitation program. It is unclear at this time whether consumers will also have access to outdoor demo section of the show in Bootleg Canyon, or just the indoor event in Las Vegas.

BikeRadar will report on the details as soon as we have them.

For 2013, Interbike is moving to the Mandalay Bay Casino on the south side of the Las Vegas Strip.
