Video: Danny MacAskill's long-awaited 'Way Back Home' film

Today saw the release of Danny MacAskill's long-awaited follow-up to 'Inspired Bicycles', 'Way Back Home' (Red Bull)
Scottish street trials sensation Danny MacAskill has today released the follow-up to the Inspired Bicycles film that shot him to fame and has now been viewed over 20 million times on YouTube.
Way Back Home follows Danny as he travels from Edinburgh to his home in Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye, calling in at some incredible riding locations along the way including tourist hotspots like Edinburgh Castle and the Forth Bridge, as well as more off-the-beaten-track spots.
MegaSkill's riding is as jaw-dropping as ever, and the cash injection from sponsors Red Bull means he now has breathtaking cinematography to complement his breathtaking moves, courtesy of his close friend and film-maker Dave Sowerby. Check it out below:

“One of the hardest tricks in the film was probably the front flip off Edinburgh Castle as it was blowing a force 10 hooly! It was also raining really heavily. If it wasn't for that it would've been easy!” For more from Danny, visit www.redbull.co.uk/waybackhome.

it shows that you enjoy it when you become absorbed and can easily atch it all the way through and don't release where the time goes. Great filming.

It's such an inspiration to see someone at the top of their game following a passion and doing it so well! The filming is awesome, the scenery is awesome and the riding deserves a second, third, fourth watch just so that you can appreciate every last detail. I agree that the front flips are amazing, but for me it's the creativity of Danny's riding as a whole that really amazes me in this film. This really is life affirming stuff!

A skilled trick cyclist and someone who seems grounded too, judging by the performance I saw him put on in Edinburgh a few months back. No airs and graces and just enjoys what he does. Well done!

Truly amazing riding. I keep looking to see where the hidden wires are but of course there aren't any.
On a technical note, how does the bike work? It looks to have only front wheel braking, but how does he manage to stop dead on the rear wheel if it doesn't have a bake?
