Only seven months on from their long-awaited Record and Super Record EPS electronic groupset, Campagnolo launched a much cheaper version through the fourth-tier Athena.
At Eurobike 2012, it was being demonstrated in all its glory to the public. According to the Italian firm's man Lorenzo in the video below, the main aim of Athena EPS is to provide the same functionality as the originals but through different, cheaper materials.
