Dive light specialist L&M produces unsurprisingly tough, weatherproof lights and this well sealed, superlight unit secures with a simple rubber ladder strap clamp that fits all round bars as well as flatter aero shapes with a bit of ingenuity.
Power is impressive for its size and the beam benefits from copying the pattern Light & Motion uses on its big, separate battery Seca lights. This means a bright 'smile' around the bottom and up around the edges of the beam for peripheral awareness.
Short to mid range infill falls off slightly but a powerful centre strip gives decent reach for speed work. Three power and pulse options extend otherwise short battery life to long commute/training ride-friendly levels and a helmet mount is also included. The lightweight casing is extremely hot running though, and the over-cautious red, then flashing warning light comes on with over 30 minutes of limp-home power still remaining.
