The Armstrong Lie, Alex Gibney’s Bafta-nominated documentary about Lance Armstrong, is scheduled for a UK release at the end of January – and we’ve got three clips to whet cinema-goers’ appetites.

We reviewed The Armstrong Lie when it hit US cinemas late last year.

Filming for the documentary started in 2009, when Armstrong launched career 2.0 – his comeback. However, anti-doping investigations overtook Gibney’s original project. In 2013, as Armstrong’s titanic reputation was reduced to dust, the filmmaker pieced together material for this, the second film.

The Armstrong Lie, released nationwide on 31 January, has a Bafta nomination for best documentary. View the trailers here:
