If you’re bored with your current riding setup, then Decathlon’s limited-time trade-in boost might be the perfect excuse to buy a new bike.
The superstore is offering an extra 20% bonus to its Buyback Programme this bank holiday weekend and half-term.
The offer is available to new and existing members and enables them to trade in 50 different types of sporting equipment across 15+ sports, in exchange for a Decathlon Gift Card worth up to 40 per cent of the item’s value.
In this promotion, you’ll receive a 20 per cent bonus (up to £50), meaning it’s now a better time than ever to trade in your unwanted equipment and put it towards a new bike or cycling accessory.

Decathlon estimates the value of your trade-in with an online assessment, enabling you to see how much your old equipment is worth.
If the estimated value of your equipment is £250, you’d get another £50 bonus, giving you £300 to spend in-store.

Any bike from any brand is accepted. So, whatever you have, you can trade it in and get yourself a new set of wheels.
Or, if you've fallen out of love with any of your other sporting equipment, it could be a good time to get an estimated price to see if you could put that towards a new bike.

Decathlon offers a wide range of bikes, from Pro-Tour level road bikes such as the Van Rysel RCR to commuter electric bikes and even our 2024 Budget Mountain Bike of the Year, the Rockrider AM 100, priced at £999.
