Winter is approaching and, for many cyclists, that means swapping the open road for the turbo trainer.

If you're looking to upgrade your indoor training setup, ROUVY's latest promotion is worth considering.

To celebrate ROUVY Fest, the indoor cycling platform is offering savings of up to 23% on the Zwift Ride smart bike, which is compatible with ROUVY's virtual cycling platform.

Running from 15 to 18 October, the four-day sale sees the Zwift Ride ROUVY Edition reduced to £899 / $999 / €999, down from £1,099.99 / $1,299.99 / €1,199.99.

That's a saving of £200.99 in the UK, $300.99 in the US and €200.99 in Europe.

Zwift Ride Rouvy
Zwift Ride's adjustability means it can be shared within a household. Rouvy

The Zwift Ride combines a dedicated indoor smart bike frame with a Wahoo KICKR CORE 2 smart trainer, offering an alternative to repeatedly mounting your regular bike on a turbo trainer.

With adjustable contact points, virtual shifting and resistance that responds to changes in gradient, it's designed to replicate the feeling of riding outdoors.

Crucially, Zwift Ride works with ROUVY, enabling riders to take advantage of the platform's real-world routes, which use video footage to recreate climbs, descents and roads from around the globe.

Virtual shifting can be controlled directly from the handlebar, while the trainer automatically adjusts resistance to match the gradients of Rouvy's routes.

The dedicated setup also means there's no need to remove your outdoor bike's rear wheel or repeatedly attach it to a trainer, making it easier to squeeze in a ride when time is tight.

Zwift Ride Rouvy stickers

The ROUVY Edition uses the same Zwift Ride hardware as the standard model, but adds a personalised sticker set, enabling riders to customise their indoor training setup.

Built around four motivations – People, Places, Progress and the Challenge Ahead – the stickers are intended to reflect what keeps riders turning the pedals.

We've previously tested the Wahoo KICKR CORE 2 smart trainer, with our indoor training expert Simon von Bromley awarding it 4.5 stars for its build quality and usability.
