Cami Nogueira is known for sending it large and matches her freeride ability with an aggressive approach to technical, steep descents.
The Argentina-born rider has made a name for herself in the freeride scene, featuring on the Tour de Gnar and being selected twice for the Red Bull Formation.
While Nogueira ticked off every feature on the challenging Hardline course, she was unable to piece together a lap for qualification, meaning it was only Louise Ferguson who competed in the women's race.
We caught up with Nogueira before the race to take a closer look at what she was riding and find out what preparations she had made for the race.

With hopes of being one of the first women to qualify for the race, Nogueira made some changes to her usual setup.
Nogueira said she increased air pressure in her shock and fork by 15psi to deal with the high-speed compressions that litter the track off jumps and drops, and around swooping berms.
She also slowed down her rebound compared to her usual settings to keep the bike more settled.

The suspension in question is a Marzocchi Bomber 58 up front in a limited-edition white colourway, matched by a Bomber Air rear shock.

To increase stopping power for the race, Nogueira increased her rotor size from 200mm to 220mm in order to cope with the demands of the course.

Biting into those rotors were TRP DH-R EVO brakes, matched by the brand's EVO 7 DH drivetrain.
Nogueira opted for a Michelin DH22 tyre up front, with a DH16 at the rear – both of which were wrapped around Industry Nine wheels with pink anodised spokes and hubs.
