The women’s WorldTour starts its 2026 season with the traditional opening race, the Tour Down Under from 17 January – with three stages plus a separate one-day race running through to 21 January.
This year, 14 women’s WorldTour teams will be at the start line – one fewer than in 2025 – reflecting the continued fragility of pro cycling’s sponsorship model. Two teams leave the women’s WorldTour in 2026, while one, EF Education – Oatly, is promoted.
As with the men’s equivalent, the women’s WorldTour represents the pinnacle of the sport. It encompasses all of road cycling’s most prestigious events, including Grand Tours such as the Tour de France Femmes and the Giro d'Italia Women, and single-day Classics such as Paris–Roubaix Femmes and the Tour of Flanders.
We’ll run through the teams, their bikes and components below, after a couple of observations on the changes to the women’s WorldTour landscape in 2026.
Bike sponsor gains and losses

With the women’s WorldTour reducing from 15 teams to 14 this year, there are two bike brands exiting women’s cycling’s top tier.
Orbea leaves with the dissolution of the Ceratizit-WNT team, although it’s now back in the men’s WorldTour thanks to its bike sponsorship of the merged Lotto-Intermarché team.
Also absent is Pinarello, which sponsored the now-defunct Roland Cycling Team.
Specialized, in contrast, is well represented, with three teams riding its S-Works Tarmac SL8, while Canyon also has three teams on its Aeroad CFR.
The most interesting bike in the peloton this year is likely to be the Factor One, though.
Piloted by Human Powered Health as an alternative to the Ostro VAM, the team’s palmares on Factor’s radical aero bike will be followed closely.
SRAM achieves equal billing with Shimano

SRAM has been more heavily represented in the women’s WorldTour than in the men’s for a number of years, and in 2026 will supply exactly half of the teams, with EF Education–Oatly coming on board this year.
The other half of the peloton will ride on Shimano groupsets, principally with Shimano power meters, although FSA supplies the cranks and power meter for the Uno-X Mobility team as a swap-out for Shimano.
As last year, there’s no Campagnolo representation in the women’s WorldTour and this year none among the men’s teams either.

- Tyres: Schwalbe
- Other: Ergon saddles, Elite bottle cages, Hammerhead bike computers
2026 marks the 10th year that Canyon//SRAM zondacrypto has been in the women’s WorldTour.
The clue to the team’s equipment suppliers is in the name: it rides Canyon Aeroad CFR bikes equipped with SRAM Red AXS groupsets. In fact, SRAM supplies much of the team’s other equipment via its Zipp wheel brand, Hammerhead computers and Time pedals.
EF Education–Oatly (EFO)

- Framesets: Cannondale SuperSix EVO / SuperSlice (TT)
- Drivetrain: SRAM Red AXS
- Wheels: Vision

As with the men’s outfit, the EF Education women’s team has made a swap from Shimano to SRAM groupsets in 2026. Plus, Assos has taken over as clothing supplier, with Rapha leaving the men’s and women’s WorldTours in search of pastures new.
Other sponsors remain the same as in 2025, with FSA Vision supplying wheels and cockpits for the Cannondale SuperSix EVO Hi-Mod bikes ridden by the team.
They’re badged with Cannondale’s highest Lab71 carbon spec, but may be Hi-Mod frames under the paintjob, as in 2025.
FDJ United–Suez (TFS)

- Framesets: Specialized Tarmac SL8 / Shiv (TT)
- Drivetrain: Shimano Dura-Ace
- Wheels: Roval
- Components: Specialized/Roval

- Tyres: Continental
- Other: Specialized saddles, Elite bottle cages, Garmin bike computers
FDJ United–Suez will continue to ride the Specialized bikes and Roval components that Demi Vollering brought with her when she joined the team in 2025. While most Specialized teams also use the brand’s tyres, FDJ is riding on Continental rubber. It’s another team with Shimano Dura-Ace as its groupset, though.
Fenix-Premier Tech (FPC)

- Framesets: Canyon Aeroad CFR / Speedmax CFR (TT)
- Drivetrain: Shimano Dura-Ace
- Wheels: Shimano Dura-Ace
- Components: Canyon
- Pedals: Shimano Dura-Ace

Canadian brand Premier Tech coming on as co-title sponsor is the major change at the team, with other sponsors and equipment suppliers remaining from 2025.
That sees the team riding Canyon bikes with Shimano Dura-Ace drivetrains and wheels, Selle Italia saddles and Wahoo computers.
The team is also active in cyclocross during the winter, riding the Canyon Inflite through the mud.

- Framesets: Factor Ostro VAM / One / Hanzo (TT)

Human Powered Health is Factor’s sole redoubt in the men’s and women’s WorldTours this year. As such, it will be the proving ground for Factor’s radical One aero bike and the brand’s new take on race bike geometry.
The team also has the Ostro VAM at its disposal again this year. Both bikes are equipped with a range of components from Factor’s Black Inc brand, along with SRAM Red AXS groupsets.

- Tyres: Pirelli
- Other: Trek saddles, Trek bottle cages, Garmin bike computers
As with the men’s team, the Lidl-Trek women will ride a Trek-heavy setup, with the eighth-generation Madone SLR covering aero and lightweight duties.
Trek is progressively confining its Bontrager brand to a smaller range of components, including the team’s wheels, while other bolt-ons, including the saddles, now bear Trek branding.

The women’s team shares the suppliers of its bikes and components with the men’s Team Visma – Lease a Bike riders. That sees it having a choice of Cervélo‘s aero S5 and lightweight R5, or the all-rounder Soloist, with Reserve wheels designed to complement the frames’ aerodynamics.
UAE Team ADQ (UAD)

UAE Team ADQ shares the Colnago bike setup of the men’s squad, with ENVE wheels and Shimano Dura-Ace drivetrains.
While the men’s team has increasingly switched to the aero Y1Rs as its main platform, the women’s team’s publicity shots suggest that it will continue to ride mainly the aero/lightweight V5Rs.
