SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed groupset
If you’re planning to upgrade to 12-speed, now might be the time. SRAM NX Eagle is currently £220.

The cheapest of SRAM’s 12-speed groupsets just got even cheaper, so if you’ve been planning to level up, then now’s the time to do it.

It features a reasonably wide range of gears, with a massive 50t sprocket to get you up the steepest of terrain.

The DUB axle on its cranks should be compatible with virtually any frame, provided you have the corresponding DUB bottom bracket.

POC Ventral SPIN Helmet – £270 From £135

POC Ventral Air Spin helmet
Be safe, be seen!

It seems only yesterday that we spotted a new aero helmet from POC at the Tour Down Under, and now you can get it for yourself in selected colours for up to half the price.

This aero helmet isn’t just about speed, but also ventilation and safety. Rather than directing airflow around the head, the Ventral SPIN sends it straight through, making claimed aero gains while keeping your head cool.

What’s more, in an array of eye-catching colours, you’re sure to be seen on the road.

The Prizm Road lens offers 20 per cent light transmission and is designed specifically to handle the light conditions you’d expect to find out on the road. The Flight frame is completely stripped back for aero gains, and the temple lengths are interchangeable to make sure you get the perfect fit.

Easton EC90 SL Disc Road Wheelset – £2,299.99 £699.99

If you’re in the market for a brand-new set of carbon wheels for your all-road or CX machine, you’ll be stoked to find this set of Easton EC90 SL Discs for a whopping 63 per cent off the price.

We gave these four stars in our review, with one of the very few gripes being the price (at a pretty heavy £2,300). However, if you act quickly, these can be yours for £699.99 — not necessarily “cheap”, but with what you’re getting for your money, it’s a damn good offer nonetheless.

Shimano XT M8100 1×12-speed groupset — £924.99 £630.99

Shimano XT M8100 groupset
The Shimano XT M8100 groupset is almost on par with XTR and it’s currently a third-off at Wiggle.

It contains some trickle-down technology from the XTR M9100 and, with a third knocked off the price, you can get the entire groupset — crankset and chainring, cassette, rear derailleur, chain, shifters, disc brakes and rotors — for £630.99.

Act quickly though, stock is very low at the time of writing.

Kask Mojito road helmet – £99 £64.99

Rapha Overmitts – £90 £22.50

Rapha lobster claw overmitts
Lobster claw overmitts are ideal if you suffer from cold hands.

If you suffer terribly from cold hands during long winter rides, then a pair of lobster claw over-gloves – gloves you wear over another pair of thermal gloves – can be a godsend, especially if they’re available at 75 per cent off RRP.

Originally developed in 2013, in conjunction with what was then Team Sky, the Rapha Overmitts are claimed to be waterproof, insulated and have reflective details to maximise visibility.

The material covering the middle fingers can also be folded back to allow for easy phone use or pocket searching.

7Mesh Northwood Jacket – £200 From £80

7Mesh North Jacket Blue
The 7Mesh Northwood Jacket is windproof yet highly breathable.

We’re big fans of 7Mesh here at BikeRadar, with the Canadian company’s apparel regularly impressing our expert testers. Our only criticisms tend to surround the relatively high prices – so at 60 per cent off, the Northwood Jacket looks to be a serious bargain.

Made from Taku Ripstop fabric, it’s pitched as an ultra-breathable windproof jacket. And at a claimed weight of just 100g, it could be a great packable layer for road or mountain bike use.

Shimano XT M8000 2×11 groupset – £499.99 £239.99

Shimano XT M8000 2x11 Groupset
Shimano’s XT M8000 groupset is a great value, workhorse groupset for MTBs.

We gave Shimano’s XT M8000 groupset a healthy 4 out of 5 stars when we reviewed it back in 2017, saying it’s a collection of “refined workhorse components to suit all riders”.

So, if your mountain bike drivetrain has seen better days, but you don’t have loads to spend, now could be a great time to give your frame a refresh before you head back out on the trails.
