Cube's new Attain endurance bike costs less than £2,000 for carbon and £1,000 for alloy

Cube has announced its 2027 models for the Attain C:62 carbon endurance bike, with specs from £1,999, and the Attain alloy bike, priced from £999.

For £2,499, the Cube Attain C:62 SLX offers 105 Di2 electronic shifting alongside Newmen 38mm carbon wheels with Schwalbe Clik valves and an integrated carbon cockpit. It has a claimed 8.5kg weight. 

Newmen is Cube’s in-house wheel and component brand, but is gaining an increasing presence on other brands’ bikes. Canyon, for example, fits Newmen wheels to some 2027 specs of its Endurace CF and Ultimate CF road bikes.

Although the frameset is carried over, the 2027 Attain C:62 models offer even better value than last year. When we reviewed the top-spec Attain C:62 SLT in 2025, we remarked on its amazing spec for the money, which we reckoned would cost around twice as much from other brands.  

It was good to ride, too, with direct handling and power transfer, paired with comfort from an absence of road buzz. 

Cube claims a 1,150g frame weight for a size M and there’s clearance for 34mm tyres, although there are no mudguard mounts. 

There are seven sizes available, from 47cm to 62cm.

Cube sells the Attain C:62  in three specs, all with 32mm Continental tyres. 

There are also updates to the alloy Attain bikes, which now all come with either Shimano CUES or 105 hydraulic disc brakes.
