Ari, formerly Fezzari, has announced its new Nebo Peak lightweight electric mountain bike, featuring a Fazua motor system connected to a 430Wh battery pack.

The new electric mountain bike has 140mm of rear-suspension travel, with the front end supported by a 150mm fork.

Three build options will be available at launch, with the range starting at $5,999 for the Nebo Peak Comp and the mid-range Nebo Peak Elite model priced at $6,999.

The top-of-the-range Nebo Peak Pro will cost $7,999, with Ari giving the option to upgrade components on the bikes before shipping.

The bike will also be available as a frameset option at a later date.

The Nebo Peak uses a full carbon fibre frame, with the 430Wh battery integrated into the down tube.

Fazua’s Ride 60 electric bike motor, which is said to weigh in at 1.96kg, features in the bottom bracket area, giving the bike 60Nm of torque and 450W of maximum power.

Ari says a range extender will be available for the Nebo Peak in late summer for those looking to take in longer rides.

The brand's Tetra-Link suspension design features at the rear, comprising a Horst-link linkage with a pivot bearing on the top tube.

Ari has given the frame its GA-Link geometry-adjust linkage, which enables the bike to run a 29in or 27.5in mullet rear wheel.

The geometry adjustment also enables you to alter the head tube angle and chainstay lengths.

In the neutral setting, the Ari Nebo Peak looks very up-to-date, with a 65-degree head tube angle and seat tube angle of 77.5 degrees.

The Ari Nebo Peak is available in two colourways.

Ari says it has managed to decrease standover height by two inches compared to its other full-suspension bikes, enabling you to run longer dropper seatposts to get the saddle out of the way for descents.

Home mechanics will celebrate the Nebo Peak’s down tube cable routing, which will make changing headset bearings and cables easier compared to fully integrated designs.

A large chainstay protector is used to reduce chain slap, and there is down tube protection to fend off rock strikes, as well as a shuttle pad to avoid your tailgate scratching the frame.
