Endura has launched the MT500 Burner Waterproof Shoes, wet-weather shoes that are said to be fully waterproof.

Spotted at the Core Bike Show, the mountain bike shoes look similar to the Endura MT500 Burner shoes. But they feature a neoprene gator and waterproof lace protection to help keep your feet dry.

The shoes will be available for clipless or flat pedals. The MT500 Burner Clipless Waterproof Shoes will be priced at £169.99 / $199.99 / €189.99, and the MT500 Burner Flat Waterproof Shoes will cost £159.99 / $189.99 / €179.99.

Endura says the shoes will be available in autumn 2023.

The MT500 Burner Flat Waterproof Shoes are available only in black, with the clipless version also available in ‘harvest orange'.

Both models feature Endura’s StickyFoot Dura soles. Endura says this sole has an aggressive and durable tread pattern for trail walking.

Endura says the sole features a StickyFoot Grip compound to create a grippy contact patch with clipless or flat pedals.

The clipless version will see an offset cleat box, which allows for a range of stance options on either caged or traditional clipless pedals, according to Endura.

Endura says the durable upper fabric is fully waterproof and highly breathable thanks to the ExoshellFW membrane.

A speed lace system is used to tie the winter cycling shoes, with a waterproof cover enclosing the laces to keep mud and water at bay.

A Velcro strap is used to lock your feet and laces into place, while reinforced toe and heel boxes are said to add protection from trail debris.

The Endura MT500 Burner Waterproof Shoe will be available in sizes ranging from UK 5 / US 6 / EU 38 to UK 12 / US 13 / EU 47.
