Eurobike, the world's biggest bicycle trade show, opens today in Friedrichshafen, Germany, with 1,250 brands from 49 countries showing off their latest and greatest gear. With writers, photographers and videographers on site, BikeRadar will be bringing you all the highlights from the show, beginning with news and reviews from the opening Demo Day.

While many of the bigger brands launch forthcoming pinnacle products to dealers and the media in advance of the show, Eurobike always offers a smörgåsbord of new bikes and gear.

Nearly 44,000 industry professionals will crowd into Friedrichshafen for the week

Demo Day is an outdoor affair where industry insiders can test ride new gear and enjoy the pleasant environs of southern Germany. Then, from Wednesday to Friday, Eurobike heads inside the massive Messe Friedrichshafen centre, where a claimed 43,700 bike professionals will converge to do business.
