The UK’s premier exhibition of handmade bikes starts this afternoon at Bespoked Bristol and ahead of the doors opening wide at 5pm on Friday we pick five stands well worth a visit.

Expect to be blown away by the sheer beauty and class of the workmanship on the Cherubim stand. Master builder Shin-Ichi Konno was an award winner at this year’s North American Handmade Bicycle Show and we’re eagerly looking forward to seeing what they’ve got on show this side of the pond.

Paulus Quiros’s creations have also attracted their fair share of praise, and attention to customer requirements is said to be second to none. The level of workmanship on this light tourer we saw recently is seriously impressive.

Condor Cycles sent BikeRadar some photos from their set up at the show. The London-based company recently showed us the steel Super Acciaio it had built for James McCallum, but judging by some behind the scenes photos they sent us there will a lot of hardware to browse. They sent us a photo of this twin toptube bi-laminate frame from the company's sister range, Paris.

Ricky Feather – founder and framebuilder of Feathers Cycles in Yorkshire has only been building bikes for a few years but has already picked up two awards at previous editions of Bespoked Bristol. Will the brushed steel racer or randonneur – two highlights he mentions in this video we featured – make it three in a row?

French manufacturer Cyfac has a staff of just 15 at the company HQ in the Loire Valley in France and turn out less than a thousand frames a year. They recently signed a deal to produce steel frames for a new MTB upstart called Caminade. The firm is renowned for customised beautiful finishes and we’re eager to see what they have on show.

BikeRadar will bring you all the very best from all exhibitors in a massive gallery over the weekend.

The show opens today at The Passenger Shed, by Bristol Temple Meads station at 5pm. The show opens 9am – 5.30pm on Saturday and 9.30-5pm on Sunday. A day ticket costs £10.
