The Amstel Gold Race will take place on Sunday 19 April for both men's and women's teams.

The race starts in Maastricht and takes in the toughest climbs in the Limburg province of the southern Netherlands before finishing in Valkenburg, 257.2km later for the men and after 158.1km for the women.

On the way, the men's race takes in 33 climbs, while the women tackle 22. Both races finish with a loop that culminates with the Cauberg, just 2.5km from the finish line.

Last year's men's race was won by Mattias Skjelmose of Lidl-Trek, who impressively beat out both Tadej Pogačar and Remco Evenepoel in a photo-finish sprint.
