British steel bikes brand Temple has cut the price of many of its gravel, road, touring and electric bikes by 50% – including the Adventure Disc 2, which was my long-term test bike for a year.
I had the AD2 on test throughout 2025, describing it as “a bike for life”. I awarded it 4/5 stars in my review as I enthused about the allure of a bike assembled two miles from my house "from quality steel that will last a lifetime – the antithesis of the throwaway, digital hellscape of the modern world".
I used the AD2 as my daily commuter bike, and took it on a series of tarmac and off-road adventures in the New Forest, Cornwall and Dorset, falling for its solid build quality, Shimano 105 groupset and urbane additions such as the Brooks B17 saddle.
Temple has cut the price of the AD2 from its RRP of £2,595 to £1,298 – a saving of 50%.
Temple refreshed its Adventure Disc gravel range in September, introducing the more modestly specced AD3, priced at £1,488.
The outlet sale comes as Bristol-based Temple prepares to move to a new high-street HQ and store.
Some of the bikes are listed as new, while others are ex-demo models and described as showing “light signs of wear… fully cleaned, serviced, and safety-checked by our workshop team to ensure reliable performance”.
Also included in the sale are the AD1 gravel bike, AD Tour, Road 2 and a number of electric bikes, which start at £1,600.
There are also frame-only deals, with 50% off Classic, Adventure Disc and Road frames in a variety of sizes, starting from £298.
Temple founder Matt Mears says of the brand’s move to its new home: “It’s something we’ve been quietly working towards for a while, and we’re incredibly excited for this next chapter.”
You’ll need to be quick if you want to grab a bargain, because bikes are starting to sell out.
