Whyte looks to be bringing big-hitting enduro capability to younger riders, with its new unreleased Sythe 27 full-suspension kids' mountain bike.
The bike features 135mm of suspension travel at the rear, with a 150mm fork up front, which should be plenty for most younger riders.
We spotted the bike on Whyte's stand at Ard Rock Enduro, with Whyte teasing it ahead of its launch at the end of next month.
The British brand is known for producing high-quality kids' bikes, with the new Sythe 27 joining the hardtail Secta and T–140 27 in its line-up.
It is based on Whyte's Sythe enduro bike and features the same frame design as the larger model, with smaller proportions for shorter riders.
As the name would suggest, the bike rolls on 27.5in wheels, although Whyte representatives on the stand at Ard Rock said it can also run a mini-mullet setup with a 26in wheel on the rear.
The price is expected to be north of £2,000 and the spec reflects that.
Up-front, there's a 150mm RockShox Psylo fork, with a Deluxe rear shock sitting in the frame.
A Shimano CUES derailleur features on the rear of the bike, with a Whyte-branded crankset completing the drivetrain.
The Sythe 27 gets SRAM G2 brakes, with Whyte's own-brand wheels booted in Maxxis tyres.
