Zara has launched a new range of mountain bike clothing in collaboration with cycling brand Spiuk.
The Spanish high-street fashion brand dipped its toe into the cycle clothing market earlier this year, and this new collection sees the company expand its cycling range.
The collection is the newest addition to Zara’s Athleticz outdoor range, which also has products for sports including football and skiing.
The line-up features technical kit and casual clothing, including Spiuk’s MTB Athleticz helmet and Athleticz Trainers mountain bike shoes.
Also in the range are mountain bike jackets, jerseys and gilets – all of which feature back pockets and proper cycling cuts.
International pricing was not available at the time of publishing.
Zara MTB Technical Jersey

The Zara MTB Technical Jersey is made out of a lightweight technical fabric and features a high collar and long sleeves to keep the wind chill at bay.
The rear of the jersey has three pockets with an elasticated trim to secure items and a reflective strip.
Zara MTB Workout Bermuda Shorts

The Zara MTB Workout Bermuda Shorts are made out of technical fabrics and feature an adjustable Velcro waist with snap-button closure.
The shorts feature semi-locking zip pockets to keep your belongings safe as you ride. Zara’s new mountain bike logo features on the rear.
It looks as though no liners are available for the shorts.
Spiuk MTB Athleticz helmet

As well as drawing on Spiuk’s knowledge to create mountain bike clothing, Zara has included one of Spiuk’s Eleo bike helmets in the new range.
The helmet is available in two sizes for heads ranging from 51cm to 61cm in diameter.
The retention system can be adjusted via a dial and the helmet comes with a removable peak.
Spiuk MTB Athleticz trainers

The Athleticz range includes Spiuk’s Amara mountain bike shoes, which have been renamed ‘trainers’.
The shoe is said to be suitable for mountain biking as well as general outdoor use and trekking.
The Amara closes with a Boa dial and a Velcro strap over the toebox.
You can also fit cleats to the sole of the Amara if you prefer riding clipless.
Zara MTB Puffer gilet

A gilet can be a useful outer layer for cooler rides.
Zara’s Puffer gilet is filled with synthetic insulation and features a single back pocket.
The cut is cycling-friendly with a high neck and slim profile.
