Supremely comfortable, but its pricetag is hard to justify

Le Col continue to develop their understated, classy clothing with the Arcus range. This long-sleeved jersey is an all-white affair, making it far more visible than much of what they’ve produced in the past.

Its synthetic/sport wool blend makes it supremely comfortable as a base layer, although it works equally well as a single layer on milder autumn rides. We’re fans of Le Col's minimalist look and the jersey continues this tradition.

While it doesn't have a race fit, it’s definitely on the skinny side but the fabric helps to keep things snug without the restrictive feel of Lycra. The waterproof, zipped pocket on the rear is a nice addition and a dash of reflective piping reinforces its outer layer credentials. Though this is a fantastic piece of kit, its eye-watering pricetag is hard to ignore.
