On my way out for a bit of a work break, I spotted a vintage GT LTS in the car park- check some of this out.
Back in 1996 these XT V-brakes were the thing to have on your steed- unless you were running Maguras...


And then there's the USE seatpost- which came in 330 or 420mm lengths, various anodised colours and one size- using aluminium shims to fit. Beautiful and simple- and bloody fashionable at the time...


And then there's the Marzocchi Z1 Bomber BAM- 4inches of silky travel in the days of not much else actually working...


The GT LTS (Linkage Tuned Suspension) followed their first full suspension bike- the RTS (Rocked Tuned Suspension) and featured about 80mm of rear wheel travel. The upper link plates are made from titanium. Later models featured aluminium mounts with a Trunion mount holding the shock- this allowed the shock body to be rotated, altering bottom bracket height and head angle- cool! Except one or two broke...
