Canyon has partnered with UK cycle-to-work scheme provider Cyclescheme to offer customers significant savings on the retail price of its bikes.

Using the salary sacrifice mechanism, potential savings range from 25 to 39 per cent, with no payment needed upfront. Canyon bikes are already available on the cycle-to-work scheme via the Green Commute Initiative.

Canyon was keen to stress that it’s not just flat-bar commuters available via Cyclescheme, but its whole range of bikes, including electric bike models – so you’re not restricted to bikes designed specifically for city commutes.

The latest updates to the cycle-to-work scheme saw the previous £1,000 ceiling on total purchase price removed, so you're less restricted in your choice there, too.

Canyon UK sales and marketing manager, Aaron Budd says of the announcement: “We’re so excited to launch a new, flexible buying tool to our UK customers. Changing up your commuting habits, even if it’s just one or two journeys a week by bike, is so beneficial to your health and the environment.”

How do I order a Canyon bike via Cyclescheme?

Buying a Canyon via Cyclescheme is fully supported on Canyon’s site, so there's no external form filling needed.

You place your order using Cyclescheme as the payment method, then request a certificate for the total purchase value, including shipping, to give to your employer.

Once the purchase has been approved by both your employer and Cyclescheme, you can redeem your certificate against your order. Canyon will then ship your bike and any other kit purchased directly to you.

More details are available on Canyon's site, along with the chance to win a Commuter:ON 7 electric bike.
