Leading bike brands have been quicker than an electronic gear shift to get the new Shimano 105 R7150 Di2 groupset onto their freshest releases.

The electrification of Shimano's third-tier 105 mechanical groupset has been long in the offing, leaving the brand trailing its rivals.

SRAM's electronic equivalent of 105, Rival eTap AXS, was released in 2021. Our technical writer Oscar Huckle has compiled a buyer's guide comparing Shimano 105 R7150 Di2 to SRAM Rival eTap AXS.

Prior to the launch, we'd been calling for Shimano to follow suit – a wireless, 12-speed 105 groupset topped our 2022 Shimano wish list. Whether an updated mechanical version of 105 will follow remains to be seen.

So far, Shimano 105 Di2 has appeared on a variety of bikes, from some brands' most prestigious models to middle-market options elsewhere.

While you can order many of these bikes now, some brands have told us their bikes with the new groupset won't be available until 2023.

By contrast, others said they have no plans to spec a bike with Shimano 105 Di2. In the meantime, here are the bikes bedecked with Shimano's cheapest electronic groupset. We will update this article with further bikes as details arrive.
