Our review
Comfort and fit means you can wear them all day, but they’re pricey

As soon as you pull the new TSG Task pads on, you know that you’re wearing a good set of knee-savers. The fit is spot on and the pads feel snug without being overly tight. They also offer plenty of side protection without inhibiting your movement.

Plus, there’s a moulded ‘horseshoe’ lip at the top of the hard plastic kneecap that helps keep the pads in place. The neoprene material is designed to be as smooth as possible to allow shorts to move freely over its surface.

The lower-shin protection patch is removable, although we liked the added security its lower strap offered. Although not the most heavily vented pads available, that comfort meant we were more than happy to wear the Task pads all day.

Our only real qualm with them was the price. They do the job very well but that hefty tag puts them in direct competition with some of the highest-level guards out there, and those are D3O equipped.
