This fleece-lined cycling-specific jersey is super warm, and works over a base on milder winter days or under a jacket if the temperature has really plummeted.
Despite the warmth, the material is still breathable, and the female-specific fit is comfortable and flattering. However, the jersey was a little loose at the waist on our tester, meaning the gummy strip along the hem didn’t have much chance to do its job.
The reflective detailing, if sparse, is useful if you’re using the Synergy as an outer layer once the lights come on, and the one rear pocket has a zipped pouch built in. We’d recommend using the latter for valuables, as the unsecured compartment is quite baggy.
