Formerly editor-at-large of monthly cycling magazine, BikesEtc, and a regular contributor to Cyclist and Rouleur, Joseph has covered everything from adventures with bikes and boats, to explorations in music and history. Despite being worryingly prone to getting lost, several of his route guides recently appeared in Lonely Planet’s book, Epic Bike Rides of Europe. Happiest far from civilisation, his time as a bike mechanic means he's a long time connoisseur of the get-you-home bodge-job.
