This folding tyre from Dutch company Vredestein has a twin-compound tread to balance grip and wear resistance.
The softer-compound edges have a heavy file pattern producing above average grip in both wet and dry, while the harder-compound centre section has stood up well to long miles and road debris.
Although it’s not the best tyre for comfort or rolling resistance, the Fiammante is no slouch, and you can enjoy your rides safe in the knowledge that it will shrug off gravel and debris.
The 23mm comes in red, blue, yellow, white and black; the 25 and 28mm in black only.
