Following the success of last year’s event, children's bike specialists Islabikes are holding their second Family Activity Day on Saturday 26 March.

Held at their Bromfield base near Ludlow, Shropshire, the day will once again give kids the opportunity to learn new riding skills from expert coaches, try out some of Islabikes' award-winning range and explore the countryside with their families on bike trails.

Other highlights will include a cycling stunt show and unicycling clown. The Conservatory Barn café and award-winning Ludlow Food Centre will give parents the chance to relax while their kids are being entertained. The on-site shop will be open from 9am-5pm, with activities beginning at 10am.

Islabikes was started five years ago by three-time national cyclo-Cross champion Isla Rowntree. She used her years of bike design and riding experience to build unique bikes with child-specific geometry and components.

"Last year lots of families had fun improving their skills, being entertained and enjoying our fabulous countryside together, and we'll have more of the same this year," she said. For more information, call 01584 856881 or visit info@islabikes.co.uk.
