In this months issue we show you how to bleed Hope brakes. Those Yorkshire Gods of CNC have given us a quick inside tip on how to get the most from the new X2 lever.
The X2 is slightly different from their regular levers so needs an extra little step to get it spot on.
After step 10 in last months sequence, put the diaphragm and cap back onto the lever, point the lever straight towards the ground. Wedge a block of wood between the caliper pistons and pump the lever a few times to dislodge any trapped air. Level the lever off, remove the cap and diaphragm, and continue onto step 11.
There you have it, but remember, it only applies to the new X2 lever. Happy bleedin’ bleeding!
