Goodbye B’Twin, hello Triban
In March 2018, Decathlon revealed that it was planning to drop the B’Twin name completely, marketing its entry-level road bikes as Tribans.
Best Triban road bikes
Decathlon’s range of road bikes provides plenty of choice for road cyclists. The Triban RC500 is their entry level offering which comes fully equipped with disc brakes and endurance geometry, making it a comfortable and efficient ride for a seriously good price.
Their other Triban offering is the RC520, which shares the same frame but comes with significant spec upgrades.
At the very top end of the range, there’s the B’Twin Ultra 940 AF (alloy) and CF (carbon), a super lightweight machine that’s built for speed and comes equipped with a Shimano Dura Ace 9100 groupset.
