Bike of the Year 2013 – Giant Defy Advanced 2

The Giant Defy Advanced 2 has won the coveted Cycling Plus Bike of the Year award for 2013, beating 39 longlisted road bikes costing between £1,500 and £2,000 (roughly US$2,350 and US$3,150).

Rounding out the top five in the competition, in no particular order, are the Focus Cayo Evo 4.0, Storck Scenero G2, Trek Domane 4.3 and Boardman SLR/9.0.
