Watch this bike live its best life as a two-wheeled cup holder

Beverage portage at its most awesome

Do try this at home, kids, because it's pretty darned cool

Are you tired of balancing that chai latte on your handlebars, or just longing for some sweet java lava on your morning ride? Sounds like you need to cut a section out of your bike's top tube and weld in a cupholder.

That may sound like a radical solution, but it's exactly what inventive YouTuber Laura Kampf did, and the results are pretty cool. Watch her delightful video to see how she pulled it off.

It's hard not to wince a little as the angle grinder slices through that innocent bike's steel flesh, but the finished article looks rather well-executed in a raw, industrial-chic sort of a way.

What mod-cons is your bike missing? Are you feeling brave?
