While it’s always sad to see bike shops closing down, this does mean there are a number of bargains to be grabbed from Cycle Surgery’s closing down sale.

We’ve had a look through what’s on offer and picked out a few of our favourite deals. This is just a small snippet of the deals available on site, so if you don’t see what you’re looking for below, head over to Cycle Surgery to browse everything on sale.

Specialized Diverge E5 Elite – £1,299 £1,099

Specialized Diverge E5
This is a great price for a very capable gravel bike.
Cycle Surgery

Currently with £200 off, Specialized’s aluminium Diverge looks like a great value entry point into the Big S’s gravel offering (we gave the women’s version 4.5 stars in 2018).

Even though it’s at the cheaper end of the spectrum it’s got Shimano Tiagra hydraulic disc brakes, a 2×10 Tiagra drivetrain with 48x32T Praxis chainrings and a snazzy paint job.

With social distancing rules still being enforced across the UK, many road cyclists are taking their usual rides off the beaten track in search of solitude, fun times and great Instagram content. Could this be the bike that turns you into a social media superstar?

Otherwise, there are plenty of other bikes in the sale, with up to 25 per cent off.

Cannondale Supersix Evo Carbon Disc 105 – £2,299.99 £1,999.00

This is a true bargain.
Cannondale

Cannondale’s latest SuperSix Evo blends great handling with the stopping power of discs and aerodynamic touches.

The Ultegra version of this bike recently won our Bike of the Year group test, but Shimano’s 105 groupset is no slouch either.

With a tasty £300 off, it’s now also a bit of a bargain. We expect this one will sell out fast.

Oakley Radar Pace – £400 £170

The Radar Pace comes with built-in earpieces, Bluetooth connectivity, ANT+ and multiple microphones.

Oakley’s Radar Pace glasses are cut down by a whopping £230 to just £170 as part of the sale.

These mad shades pipe coaching advice, fresh beats and other notifications direct to your ears via two in-built earpieces.

They’re fairly bulky and require a smartphone to be used, but for this price, and for the right rider, they could be a steal.

Shimano Ultegra 6800 11-speed Cassette – £74.99 £39.99

The cassette could be perfect for hard riders and TT fans alike.
Cycle Surgery

If you prefer a close-spaced cassette or are looking to do some time trials in the future, or you’re just hard-as-nails, this 11-23t Ultegra 6800 cassette could be perfect with a 40 per cent saving.

Though it’s a previous-generation cassette, it will still work fine with any 11-speed Shimano road groupset.

Cycle Surgery is also offering up to 60 per cent off a range of other components.

Continental Grand Sport Race tyre 700x28mm – £29.99 £14.99

The Grand Sport Race aims to strike a good balance between performance and puncture protection.
Cycle Surgery

The Continental Grand Sport Race is a good all-round tyre that strikes a good balance between low rolling resistance and puncture protection.

Available in an increasingly fashionable (and just plain ol’ better) 28mm width, the tyre could also offer increased comfort if you’re moving from narrower rubber.

You can get all of this for £14.99, presenting a 50 per cent saving on RRP.
