Our review
Advances in technology mean there are better lights for the money

Compared to other lights with built-in batteries, the Busch & Muller is rather bulky. Plus it uses NiMH instead of Li-ion batteries, which makes it heavy (226g).

The beam intensity and the long burn times are definite positives for a regular commute that includes unlit areas, though (there are two intensity modes). However, we found it stopped our wireless computer working, which may put you off.

The primary beam is ‘square’ to match the road’s contours, but it doesn’t quite work and we found the shadows cast by the beam’s corners a bit distracting.
